Suspended Privileges and Accounts

At Animal Jam we take the safety and security of our players very seriously, and we want all Jammers to have a safe, fun, and inviting online experience. Players are required to agree to the Animal Jam Rules in order to create a player account. Players found to be in violation of Animal Jam Rules may be subject to disciplinary actions like a suspension of game play or privileges, or a ban. Because we want to ensure that all players have a safe and enjoyable online experience, we are not able to lift temporary suspensions issued upon player accounts that have violated the Animal Jam Rules.

Whether Jammers are adventuring around Jamaa, chatting with their friends, or engaging in role play, they should always follow the Animal Jam Rules. We have a team of highly trained moderators who are constantly reviewing in-game activity, chat logs, and player reports to help keep Jamaa safe. If our moderators witness behaviors such as scamming, bullying, cheating, inappropriate language or inappropriate role play, action may be taken on the player account or accounts at fault.

  • If our moderators have found unfair trading behavior on an account, they will temporarily disable the use of that account's trading and gifting capabilities. This is done to help keep all of our Jammers and their items safe.
  • If our moderators have found inappropriate language used on an account, they will temporarily demote that account's chat ability to Bubble Chat. This is done to ensure that all of our Jammers can play in a safe environment.
  • If your player account is suspended, an email notification will be sent to the parent email address associated with it. The suspension begins at your next login attempt, at that time the duration of the suspension will begin.  For example, if your account were issued a 24 hour ban and you attempted to log in today at 11:30am, the suspension would be lifted at 11:30am the following day.

If your account was suspended or banned and you don't understand why, your parents have the ability to view discipline history on their Parent Dashboard.
